This series of photos amazes me. I have tried to recreate a photo from my childhood in the same place, years later. With ho-hum results. It is really hard to be in the exact right spot, with the right lighting, and the right expression on the model’s face. These are done really well.
I love seeing how much stays the same as we age. You are the same you. Rather than highlighting the differences these photos highlight the similarities.
Irina Werning is an Argentinian photographer, she has a bachelor’s degree in economics and master’s degrees in history and photojournalism. She sounds like someone who would make a great dining companion.
